Food Network released a list of 50 Breakfast Sandwiches in 50 states, and one beloved Michigan restaurant took home the crown to represent us. (Who better to trust on which one to try than the home of Guy Fieri, Bobby Flat, Alton Brown, and more?)

Their pick was Renee's Kitchen Magic from  Zingerman's Delicatessen in Ann Arbor

At the corner of Detroit and Kingsley in Ann Arbor, this Jewish Deli has been a community staple since the 1980's.  Renee's Kitchen Magic is made with two eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, and Vermont cheddar all on top of Zingerman's iconic sesame bagel. It truly looks like a magical way to start your day.

What exactly makes Renee's Kitchen Magic so special? The crowning jewel of this breakfast sandwich is the bagel it comes on. It's made in-house with a their own recipe, so you won't find another like it in the state.
