
July Brings 1,200-Mile Tour Da Yoop, Eh Challenge
Step aside, Tour de France, the Upper Peninsula has its own epic ride: the Tour Da Yoop, Eh. This annual cycling event spans 1,200 miles and supports a meaningful cause.
The Biggest Cycling Events in the World
The world’s premier cycling events are led by the three-week Grand Tours, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia, and Vuelta a España, alongside the five iconic one-day Monuments, including Paris-Roubaix and Milan–San Remo, as well as the UCI Road World Championships.
Other major, highly regarded events include the Olympic cycling road races, Strade Bianche, and the Race Across America.

Tour Da Yoop, Eh: Epic U.P. Bike Event Is Back
The Tour Da Yoop, Eh isn’t a traditional race, but a demanding personal challenge that pushes cyclists to tackle 1,200 miles of endurance. Along the way, it not only tests riders’ limits but also supports efforts to fight childhood cancer.
This year’s ride runs from Friday, July 24, through Sunday, August 2, beginning and ending in Manistique. Registration is now open, but it will close on June 9, or sooner if all spots are filled.
