Did Michigan Grocery Stores Use Pandemic to Unfairly Raise Prices?

Groceries went up during the pandemic but now that things are back to normal why haven't the prices gone back down? Seems a bit unfair to Michiganders.

During the first few weeks of the pandemic some people had trouble getting toilet paper, hand sanitizer, alcohol wipes, disinfectant spray, and a few other items from grocery stores but it was mainly because people were hoarding those items.

Other than the first two weeks of getting groceries when the pandemic began in 2020, I had no trouble finding anything I needed at the grocery store and still don't to this date. I have noticed smaller portions or less of the product in the packaging but can still find everything so why aren't the prices going down?

I have felt that grocery stores began sticking it to us Michiganders after a few months into COVID-19 in 2020 and it is looking like I wasn't wrong.

It turns out the Federal Trade Commission dug into this matter and found out the supply chain disruptions were a bunch of B@#! S#%!. Big Grocery saw the pandemic as an opportunity to raise prices and has been making out like the bandits ever since.

It wasn't just Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, and other major grocery companies but also Amazon, Procter & Gamble, Tyson Foods, Kraft Heinz, and many more. Easter is coming up and once again all the stores are jacking up the egg prices just in time for the holiday. This stuff has to stop.
