Amway Grand Plaza To Offer Ghost Tours For The First Time
The Amway Grand Plaza is one of, if not the, most important buildings in Grand Rapids' history. It is known for its superb service but some people have had experiences that aren't really the spotlight-worthy events the Grand Plaza would prefer to be known for; paranormal activity.

While the Grand Plaza has been quiet about these so-called ghostly moments, for the first time, they're embracing their spooky side to host ghost tours inside the hotel.
A Spooky Past
Since the building was originally the Pantlind way back in 1913, guests and workers alike have shared stories about unusual experiences. Now, the Amway Grand is appealing to its more unusual history by offering a walking tour inside the Grand.

The "Ghosts of the Grand" tour is said to be a
"four-hour exploration of the Amway Grand's haunted history, including a 45-minute guided tour filled with chilling tales and exclusive access to the property's most haunted spots."
Guests looking for an even spookier night can request to stay on a haunted floor.
The tour is happening for one night only on Wednesday, October 30th. The tour sold out instantly, though due to the buzz around this tour, it wouldn't be surprising if it happens again next year. So if you're interested in next time, act quickly.
The Grand is still offering a Haunted Tour Room Package which gives guests a ticket to a ghost tour of the Grand Rapids and an overnight stay at the hotel. Either way, prepare for a night of fright.
