A fun fact about me is that I am a massive thrifter. I do not know the last time I bought a "new' piece of clothing (as I write this, 4 of the 6 articles of clothing I have on are thrifted). I make a conscientious effort to thrift my things because a) I like giving clothes a second life, b) I feel like I fit into thrifted clothes better, and c) I'm cheap.

It's why I have a dedicated route around Grand Rapids of both thrift stores and curated "vintage" stores like those on South Division that I make a bi-weekly journey through. But Michigan is a big place, with tons of thrift stores.
