Summer may be winding down, but there are five acres of cheerful sunflowers waiting for you to enjoy at a new sunflower festival this weekend.

The second and final weekend of Gull Meadow Farm’s first annual Sunflower Festival is Friday, August 16, through Sunday, August 18, in Richland.

The festival displays 20 different varieties of sunflowers including sunflowers which are red, white, and bi-color.

Tickets are sold to view the sunflowers during different time slots.

Tickets are $15 per person. Tickets include a wagon ride to the sunflower patch and one sunflower to cut and take home. Kids 36 inches and under are free.

Hours are 3:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. on Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
