With smartphones and apps making radio stations like ours available worldwide now (not to mention this website) we know we have listeners down in Florida. And with Hurricane Dorian turning into a potential monster - to our Florida friends, we say - be safe, and get the heck out of there!

But you might be surprised to know that Hurricane Dorian will be so strong it will affect the Labor Day weather here in Mid-Michigan. According to MLive.com, that storm system will be pushing moisture further up into lower Michigan, making for a wetter Sunday than we might have expected. The storm will also block that rain somewhat from moving east, so it will be with us longer through Sunday.

The good news is we should have  fairly nice weather Saturday and Monday. So, plan accordingly, say goodbye to summer and hello to fall and send out some prayers to everyone in Florida.
