How to Volunteer at ArtPrize Eight

ArtPrize Eight is coming to Grand Rapids, September 21 - October 9. It takes hundreds of volunteers to successfully run the popular event. See how you can help make ArtPrize Eight a success.

Volunteer Requirements

• Must be 18.
• Attend a one-hour orientation.
• Sign up for at least one volunteer shift.

Benefits

• Free Event Guide with map.
• Schedule own shifts.
• Free ArtPrize Metro Card for 10 free rides on the Rapid and unlimited use of the Silver Line during ArtPrize.
• Access to the Volunteer Lounge at the ArtPrize HUB with free snacks.
• Rewards based on hours of service.
• Prizes.

Group Volunteering

• Sign-up open through July 31. Group volunteers become Wayfinders - tour guides/ambassadors for ArtPrize.

Volunteer Leadership Positions

• Willing to commit to five or more shifts.
• Positions include: volunteer lounge area, wayfinder, retail and education.
• Sign-up opens July 29 at 9AM.

Sign-up for general volunteer openings (not group or leadership positions) opens August 12 at 9AM.
