When you see this video, you're going to want one whether you need it or not.

This is a primitive application of the technology, but I'm sure that it won't be long before we see Kinect style body-orientation sensors in everything from home security systems to kitchen appliances.

I'm sure there must also be lots of business applications, such as industrial machinery that shuts down instantly if someone is in danger.
