Construction is complete on the $8.5 million expansion at the Holland Home Breton Rehabilitation & Living Centre.

The project features a new 4,560 square foot rehabilitation center and a 13,390 square foot 15-bed memory care assisted living unit. The expansion was first announced in July 2014.

Improvements include an overhaul of the existing rehabilitation gym, new construction of a single-story memory care assisted living unit and additional remodeling and redecorating of the existing facility.

The facility was designed by Post Associates Architects with Erhardt Construction as the builder.

10 to 15 new positions will be created to accommodate the increased capacity.

The rehabilitation services expansion quadruples the capacity and capabilities of Breton Rehabilitation & Living Centre’s rehabilitation program. The rehabilitation center is attached to the existing Breton Rehabilitation & Living Centre. It includes a therapy gym, physical therapy, occupational therapy and a variety of exercise equipment.
