Hobby Lobby To Discontinue Its 40% Off Coupon

It was a standard practice for art fanatics like myself, you would grab your phone, go to the Hobby Lobby web page and BAM! get 40% off just like that. Not any more.

This is kind of a big deal to those of us who have an artistic hobby to keep us going during the winter.

As an artist, paint and brushes can make my hobby an expensive one, so knowing the Hobby Lobby standard 40% coupon existed was a big deal to me.

The national crafts retailer confirmed the coupon is going away in a comment to a post on their Facebook page Tuesday. 

The good news here is the 40% off coupons will be good through February 28, so you can stock up on glitter, paint, picture frames and other sundry arts and crafts stuff through then.

In the Facebook post, the company said the savings will still be there, they'll just be spread out around the store.

"...we are intensifying our efforts to discount thousands of items every day. This will offer a better value instead of providing a discount on only one item with the coupon," Hobby Lobby wrote in the comment.
