If you have ever wanted to name an exotic animal, Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park has an opportunity for you to name a new baby giraffe.

According to WOOD TV, on July 8th at the Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park in Alto, Michigan, a reticulated giraffe recently gave birth to a male calf. This was the very first giraffe to be born at the park.

The baby giraffe weighs 200 pounds and is already 6 feet tall.

If you would like to see the baby giraffe in person, starting Thursday at 10 a.m., he will be making his public debut. Since the calf is so young, he's a little skittish since he is discovering everything for the very first time.

If you would like to give this baby giraffe his name, just go to Boulder Ridge's Facebook page to submit your name idea. The park is looking for a top 5 to 10 and will deliver the winning name July 30th on Baby Animal Day.
