Help Ideal Park Obtain Grant Money for Reconstruction After Tornado

The City of Wyoming is seeking help to obtain up to $300,000 in grant funds for Ideal Park's reconstruction from the damaged caused by the tornado in 2014.

The grant is begin applied for through the State of Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund.

The grant application requirements include listing the wildlife that is present in the park, both currently and before the tornado.

The City of Wyoming is asking anyone who has visited the park, either before or after the tornado, to write a letter or send an email describing the wildlife they have seen at Ideal Park. Wildlife seen may include birds, deer, foxes, turtles, rabbits and more.
