Michigan Veterans, take heart.  At last, a coordinated effort to help Veterans in Michigan.  The Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency, a newly created agency earlier this year, has been established to be a central coordinating point for all of the existing programs out there. The goal of the agency is to provide services to all approximately 700,000 Michigan veterans as they transition through the various stages of their lives from the first day they take their uniform off until they are laid to rest.

Jeff Barns, Agency Director, was a guest on my show, Andy in the Morning, and talked about the new agency and what it can do for veterans.
