GRPS Museum School a Finalist in the National “Super School Project”
These are proud and exciting moments for the Grand Rapids Public Schools Museum School. They have been named one of the 50 finalists in the XQ Super School Project.
That's even more exciting since they were originally one of about 800 applicants.
Now, the tense part. Only five projects will be selected to split $50 million dollars to assist in implementing their program.
What is this project thing? It is a group of educators and entrepreneurs, parents and pioneers, business leaders and administrators, youth and education experts, in the endeavor to remake America’s high schools for today. They want to create a new model of learning called XQ.
This quite exciting for GRPS and the Museum School, and is a further example of the GRPS Transformation success and the national attention they are gaining due to their innovation in public education.
Best wishes, GRPS!
