Back in March, Grand Rapids Public Schools opened up seven different meal sites for students to get grab and go lunches during the coronavirus pandemic. Grand Rapids Magazine reports that the district has extended the timeline on four of those locations.

Students who are 18 and younger can stop at the following schools now through June 30:

  • City High Middle School (1400 Plainfield Ave. NE, Grand Rapids)
  • Ottawa Hills High School (2055 Rosewood Ave. SE, Grand Rapids)
  • San Juan Diego Academy (1650 Godfrey Ave. SW, Wyoming)
  • Sibley Elementary (943 Sibley St. NW, Grand Rapids)

Meals will be available for pick up Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The grab and go meals consist of a breakfast/lunch option.

Grand Rapids Public Schools is extending this service to all students in West Michigan, not just GRPS.
