It's the first day of Winter, 2011.  It sure doesn't look like it, but it will soon enough.  We're sure to get our fair share of snow.

Too many grumble about it...dang snow...I hate snow...snow, snow, go away, you know the drill.  Well, it's part of Michigan, so like it our not, it's part of us.  So why not embrace it.

There are plenty of fun things to do and places to go to enjoy winter.  For, play-in-the-snow fun, Winter Trail facilities throughout the Great Lakes Region are gearing up to offer great trailside fun for the whole family.

Just traveling a bit 'up north' to Northern Michigan, you find groomed trails, free lessons and trail passes, gourmet ski fare, fabulous resorts and more.  Boyne Highlands, Boyne Mountain, Crtystal Mountain Resort, Treetops Resort & Spa, Timber Ridge, and more, offer wonderful packages beginning at $79 per person.

Here is an easy link to "pure Winter Trail Adventures" where you'll find many fun opportunities in beautiful Northern Michigan.
