Grandma Tries Out For Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders!

This is a GREAT story out of Dallas.

Sharon Simmons is 55.  She's a mother of two and grandmother of two.  She tried out to be a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader.

She wanted to try out in her 20's but was a young, single mom; she had very little money, no routine outfit, no routine, etc.  So she gave up that dream and focused on raising her daughter and son.

Now, she's back to try out!

She wouldn't be the only grandma in the NFL (the Oakland Raiders have one on their team), but she would be the oldest cheerleader in the league (currently a 43-year-old woman is the oldest in the NFL).
