Wellspring Prep High School in Grand Rapids joined with Rob Bliss to create a very special volleyball experience at Pere Marquette in Muskegon today.

The game was played on top of storage containers, two stories up, right on the beach.

The purpose of the event was to give friends, family, and many others the opportunity to join together to show support for 15-year-old Megan Haan.  Haan is a huge volleyball fan and has been battling bone cancer.

Around 1 p.m. Megan and her family arrived at the beach to a loud cheer. The teen covered her face as the group rushed her parents' car to reveal the surprise.

"I was surprised, I had no idea at all", Hann said.

Her parents told their daughter she was going to the beach for a day with the family. During the afternoon the group took turns climbing scaffolding to get on top of the shipping containers. The day included a pizza party 30 feet above the beach and lots of photographs with friends.

The shipping containers will be removed from the beach starting Wednesday morning.

What a fun way to show love and support for Megan Haan!
