"Dream It, Build It", the LEGO exhibit at Grand Rapids Public Museum, has been extended through September 28.

The LEGO exhibit was initially scheduled to close on August 31.

“The overwhelming response and popularity of the exhibit prompted us to extend the exhibition another month,” said Kate Moore, Vice President of Marketing and PR for the GRPM.

The exhibit has 13 LEGO versions of famous architectural structures from around the world, including the Trump Tower Chicago, the Empire State Building, and the Gateway Arch.

LEGO artist Adam Reed Tucker also created a scaled model of the Van Andel Museum Center building.

The exhibition also includes areas for visitors to make their own creations with LEGOs.

As summer winds down and school begins it will be nice to have another option for family entertainment in Grand Rapids.
