It sounds like a scene you'd read in a comic book.

A man single-handedly battles crime on the streets to protect everyday citizens.

In this scenario, Grand Rapids postal carrier Louie Kunst is the superhero.

WZZM reports that Grand Rapids postal carrier Louie Kunst was working his daily routine in the Heritage Hill area when he spotted some suspicious individuals. He kept an eye on them and soon saw them steal a package off of a porch.

That's when Kunst chased after them.

The teens who stole the package denied it before throwing the package down and running away.

Kunst called his supervisor who told him to bring the package in. The package was then taped up and delivered with a note attached explaining why it was damaged.

The package belonged to Nathaniel George. George was very grateful for the delivery and the efforts of the postal workers. He posted a photo of the letter on social media where it gained a lot of attention.
