Grand Rapids Highway Traffic Speeds and Cameras
Today's winter storm is leading to dozens of cancellations and dangerous travel conditions.
If you have no choice but to travel, a quick look at current highway conditions can help you see which roads are best for travel.
The Michigan Department of Transportation has a series of traffic cameras along US-131, I-96 and I-196.
Traffic cameras on 131 include views of 28th St., Hall St., Franklin St., Pearl St., Leonard St., Ann St., and West River Drive.
Traffic cameras on I-196 include views of Chicago Dr., Lake Michigan Dr., Lane Ave., College Ave., and Fuller Ave.
There are also views of US-131/I-196, I-96/I-196 and I-96/Fulton St.
Traffic speeds along the main highways may also be viewed when selecting the "current speed" option on the map legend.
