Governor Whitmer Sends MI Care Package to SNL’s Cecily Strong

Last weekend, Cecily Strong portrayed Governor Whitmer on a skit for Saturday Night Live. While the governor enjoyed the skit, she said what all of us Michiganders thought... why is she drinking a Labatt?! That doesn't represent the mitten state at all!

We're proud of our beer here in Michigan and Governor Whitmer proved that by sending a care package to Cecily Strong. The SNL star posted the incredible gift on her Instagram page and thanked Whitmer. The package includes lots of beer and different swag from Bell's Brewery.

I'd say THAT WOMAN from Michigan did a pretty good job with this package.
