Full Moon … Fever?

It's full moon time again.  Many people think there are changes in the planet, human behavior and other stuff during a full moon.

So I thought it'd be good to share this info I found about "full moon myths."

1. The moon makes us crazy.  The 'experts' say there is no basis for this in humans, although they do say that dogs make more visits to the emergency vet during a full moon.

2. The supermoon can cause disasters.

3. The moon landing was a hoax.

4. The moon is made of green cheese.  (What? Seriously people believe this?)  The joke apparently started in the 1500's with the belief that no one could possible believe the moon was made of green cheese.  By the early 1900's, a survey showed that children actually DID believe the moon could be made of green cheese.

5. The cold war-era United States was moon crazy.
