MLive is reporting that we’are getting another non-stop flight from Gerald R Ford International airport thanks to Frontier Airlines.

According to MLive starting April 9th you can fly non-stop to Philadelphia on Frontier Airlines, with fares kicking off the flights as low as $29.  But before you decide to spend $60 on a round-trip flight to Philly for some cheesesteak sandwiches, MLive says the airline will only operates the non-stop flights to the city of brotherly love, just twice a week; on Mondays and Fridays.

The MLive story says the Airline recently returned to Grand Rapids after four years away, just before Christmas with flights to Orlando and as of April 8th, they’ll also offer flights to Denver as well.

According to Frontier's website, the flights to Philadelphia will only be offered seasonally, which Jim Gill, Gerald R. Ford International Airport CEO told MLive,

"Service to Philadelphia starting in April will be perfect for spring break and summer travelers looking to check out the historical offerings of downtown Philly; and in return we hope to attract Philly's population to explore West Michigan during our beautiful summer months.”
