There are just a few days left for you to see the Grand Rapids Public Museum’s FACING MARS exhibit.  It closes this Saturday, May 6.

The Public Museum wants everybody to see it if you're able, and are offering three special discounts this final week.

  • Weekday: MARS @ Mid-Day tickets….Visit Tuesday through Friday and get $2 off a MARS ticket with the purchase of general admission
  • EveningsMARS Madness Nights…This special evening package, offered May 1 – 3 from 5-9 p.m., includes dinner, general admission, special exhibit  admission and a planetarium show for $6.50 members/ $12 Non-members
  • Last WeekendReceive free general admission with the purchase of the $4 FACING MARS special exhibit admission on the last two days, Saturday, May 5 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Sunday, May 6 from Noon – 5 p.m.

You'll have the opportunity to learn about the concept of space exploration from the safety of Earth through 20 hands-on exhibit stations designed by the Ontario Science Centre.  Guests learn firsthand what it takes to plan and undertake a two-year trip to Mars and back, and ponder the exhibit’s opening and closing question:  “Would you go?”

 

Typically, FACING MARS exhibit admission is $4 plus general admission and includes entrance into the Our Bodies in Space planetarium show.  (Admission is free to members.)  General admission is $8 for Adults, $7 for Seniors, $3 for Students/Children 3-17, and free for children under 3.
