There's good news for downtown Grand Rapids. Elliott's News, nearly 105 years old, will be back in business very soon. They had to close their doors earlier this year due to renovations and changes at it's old location, 50 Monroe, NW, and it was a sad day for many. But now, those frowns can turn into smiles.

Our friends at Fox 17, reported the Elliott's will be back in business before the end of the year when they reopen in the lobby of the McKay Tower, corner of Pearl and Monroe.

Although it will be a smaller version than the past, owner Bill Bennett say he'll still have most of what he had before.

There's a bit of irony here, too. The McKay Tower is actually the original address when Elliott's News first opened it's doors in 1912!
