Driver Saved By Good Samaritan

This story caught my eye on WZZM 13 earlier this afternoon.  It's somewhat bizarre and uplifting at the same time, so I wanted to share it.

If anyone knows a guy named Phil Elzinga, tell him "thanks" for being a great person and a "good samaritan."

Phil was on US 31 Thursday when he noticed a truck that had caught fire...problem was, the driver of the truck had no idea.  So, he did everything he could to get the attention of the other driver.

He did.  And once the fire department arrived, he headed on to an appointment.

If he was late, at least he had a good excuse!
