Check Out This Birthday 20 Years Later in Sparta

One of the happiest and yummy places in Sparta is Downtown Trini's & Magarita Joe's.

Trini's has been the place to go since 1994 with people coming back again and again, and that includes Austin!

20-years ago in 2005, this young boy, Austin, got to celebrate his first birthday and Downtown Trini's & Margarita Joe's, sombrero and all.

Flash forward to today, 2025, and Austin is back celebrating his 21st birthday!

How cool is that! He didn't have a beard and mustache back then, duh, but now that he is all grown up he can celebrate with one of their Margaritas.....legally! Ha!

Heather was the server back then, and was there, of course, for the new picture, too. Everyone knows Heather, who, as you notice, is in a time warp and aging backward.

Back in the day, as they say, Downtown Trini's was just a small 48-seat restaurant in '94. But as their popularity grew, brothers Trini and Joseph Paiz were able to buy the building next door, double their capacity and add a bar, now called Margarita Joe's. Now, they also have a big outdoor patio.

Of course, families usually try to recreate a cute family photo from the past. I know I did and it was fun. However.....

Probably the most popular photo recreation of all has to be the Abbey Road Beatles shot in 1969.

Okay, not with the Beatles, but now, if you're in London, one of the "musts" in your visit is to recreate the Abbey Road picture yourself!
