Did you know that there actually are days and times of day that you should shop online, and days and times you should not shop online? Seriously!

Sounds kind of crazy, doesn't it. I always thought it was simply seasonal. In other words, before Christmas like Black Friday. Or, after Christmas for what you didn't buy before, and the like.

But, if you are shopping for groceries, which is always a must, in addition to appliances, electronics, and clothing, there is a method here that can save you money.

Fox17 reported on the data access company Decodo, who has been studying price trends from big-time online retailers such as Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy.

Low and behold, they were actually able to break down "the best times to shop online for electronics, fresh produce, home appliances and men’s and women’s apparel."

Before you read on, be aware that some of the best shopping online times are crazy wacky. But, a deal is a deal, right? So, go for it!

The Fox17 reported Decodo says these are THE BEST DAYS AND TIMES TO SHOP for:

Electronics: Thursday early morning (4 a.m.)
Fresh produce: Friday early morning (1 a.m.)
Home appliances: Wednesday late afternoon (4 p.m.)
Men’s apparel: Friday early morning (1 a.m.)
Women’s apparel: Sunday early morning (1 a.m.)

Hmmm, okay, so I guess I'll need to stay up all night or set an early alarm for some of the best deals!

WHEN SHOULDN'T I BE ONLINE SHOPPING?

The say the worst times to shop are:

Electronics: Thursday night (9 p.m.)
Fresh produce: Thursday early morning (7 a.m.)
Home appliances: Thursday morning (9 a.m.)
Men’s apparel: Thursday morning (11 a.m.)
Women’s apparel: Thursday morning (11 a.m.)

I get that this seems strange, but the experts say "a great price in the early morning hours could increase by 30% by dinner."

Here is another tip. "Home appliances and clothing were the cheapest in the month of January, so take advantage of winter clearance now."

And, the all-time worst month to shop is October! Typically retailers increase their  prices ahead of Black Friday.

Common sense will tell you don't shop and spend on impulse. Do your research and save your hard earned $$$!
