City of Wyoming Asks Residents to Take Survey on Plans for Ideal Park

Cleanup and rebuilding continue following the EF-1 tornado that struck Byron Center, Kentwood and Wyoming, last July.

The City of Wyoming is asking residents to give their feedback on plans for Ideal Park.

Ideal Park was struck hard by the tornado in July 2014.

The survey asks residents to share their thoughts on a variety of ideas for rebuilding the park including: keeping the historic lodge, building a new playground, improving security and more.

Rebecca Rynbrandt, City of Wyoming Director of Community Services said, "We are committed to engaging the public at every step of this planning process. Survey results will be shared with the Wyoming City Council on Feb. 9 when they consider the plan."
