Chef Mario Batali IS Pure Michigan

I've written about famed Chef Mario Batali, and his love of northern Michigan.  He, along with Tim Allen, is turning out to be a great salesman for Michigan.

He's grabbed the Pure Michigan campaign by the horns with a talk about what he loves about the Great Lakes state.

It's so much fun to hear the former Iron Chef and media personality gush about the area’s beautiful sites and tasty food whenever he gets a chance.

Batali, who has a home in Leelanau County’s Northport, recently shared his favorite things to do in northwest Lower Michigan in a video for Pure Michigan, the state’s tourism advertising campaign.   Take a look.
