The Muskegon County Prosecutor's Office is expected to reveal a charging decision related to Rebekah Bletsch's murder case Wednesday morning at 10 a.m.

Bletsch was shot in the head as she jogged on Automobile Road in Muskegon in June 2014.

While charges have not been confirmed, WOOD-TV8 reports that a source has confirmed to them that charges will be filed against abduction suspect Jeffrey Willis.

The possible charges come after the sheriff's department tested a .22 caliber semiautomatic pistol found while searching Willis' home and vehicle last week.

Willis has already been arraigned on numerous charges: kidnapping, assault with a dangerous weapon, and two other felony firearm charges after police say he attempted to abduct a 16-year-old girl back in April.

Norton Shores detectives are also looking for connections Willis may have to the disappearance of Jessica Heeringa, and he has been named as a person of interest in that case.

Willis has requested a public defender to represent him.
