More than a third of people working full-time won't be taking a vacation this year. For 24-percent of the employees taking part in a new CareerBuilder survey, the problem is financial, which is up three-percent from last year. Another 12-percent say it's not money but work demands that will keep them from taking time away from the job. In addition, 30-percent of those planning to take a vacation won't completely leave the office behind but say they'll be checking in, which is a five-percent increase from last year. However, 36-percent are feeling more comfortable about taking a vacation this year than they did last year. While 24-percent anticipate taking three-to-five days off for their vacation, 26-percent intend to be away for seven-to-ten days. Eleven-percent are planning to be gone for at least two weeks.
