I’ll give you a hint: it’s barely been a year since it opened in the state.

Of course, it’s Chick-fil-A. The Atlanta-based fast food chain has quickly become a Michigan favorite according to new data by Foursquare.

The app looked at all the fast food chains and how where they had the most number of visits (on average) in each state. This was then divided by the total number of locations [for the specific chain] in that state.

All but 12 states favored Chick-fil-A. Business Insider reports

...the fried-chicken chain generates more revenue per restaurant than any other fast-food chain in the US.”

Most of the Chick-fil-A’s, in Michigan have opened within the past year with Lansing marking its first stand alone location in October of 2016. Since then, many have opened throughout the state with even more planned.

The map below shows the most popular fast food chain in each state. With only three states (Alaska, Washington D.C. and North Dakota) favoring McDonald's it comes as America's second favorite fast food restaurant.
