Camp on the Beach at the Surf Festival in Muskegon This Weekend
Lake Michigan will feel a little bit like the ocean this weekend with beach camping, surfing lessons, hula dancing lessons and more at the beach in Muskegon.
The second annual Great Lakes Surf Festival is on Saturday, August 17, at Pere Marquette Beach in Muskegon.
The festival offers a long list of lessons and workshops including:
- surfing
- kayaking
- stand-up paddleboarding
- foil boarding
- wind surfing
- hula dancing
Tent camping will be available on part of the Pere Marquette beach on both Friday and Saturday nights. There are also plenty of activities for the kids including a hula hoop competition.
