Calvin Students Jump in Frozen Pond [Photos]

Hundreds of Calvin College students celebrated Valentine's Day by jumping into an icy cold pond at the annual Sem Pond Jump on Calvin's campus.

The annual Sem Pond Jump drew a long line of participants, including many who have made the jump before.

Calvin offered a few rules ahead of time.

Rule #2 gives you a good idea of the kind of fun the students were having:

2. You MUST go all the way under the water! You will be booed if you don't and no one wants that. Let's hope the water is deep enough for a quick submersion.
