A Fantastic Blockbuster Concert at Ford Field in Detroit!
It doesn't happen very often, but a blockbuster of a concert will be at Ford Field, home of the Detroit Lions, on Saturday, March 29th, 2025.
So who's coming?
Billy Joel along with Stevie Nicks!
It is next year, but tickets are going on sale next week and you know they will be snapped up fast.
March 29 of next year is also a special date, too. It will be the 88th day of the year and turns out to be National Piano Day worldwide. Nice timing!
Live Nation just announced this amazing concert and said tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. next Friday, October 4!
I can imagine this concert as a super loud party. It's deafening when the Lions play there so one can only guess how it will be when Joel and Nicks are playing there!
Yahoo.com said the Detroit Free Press wrote that this isn't the first time Billy Joel has played in Detroit. He's had concerts at Pine Knob Music Theatre, the Palace of Auburn Hills and Joe Louis Arena, and now, along with Stevie Nicks, at Ford Field.
Billy Joel is considered one of the most popular recording artists in the world, Yahoo.com and WOOD TV8 report. He's sold a whopping 150 million records. He has had countless songs on Billboard's Top 40 list and has been nominated for 23 Grammy awards. Not too bad for a simple piano man.
Stevie Nicks, who just played here in Grand Rapids at Van Andel Arens, has 15 albums out there, Yahoo.com and WOOD TV says. What a career she has had with eight solo records and seven albums with Fleetwood Mac, selling more than 65 million copies in the United States alone. In 2007, Rolling Stone declared her the “reigning queen of rock and roll.”
I don't have all the details yet, but I know that I will have tickets to giveaway very soon on 100.5 The River. You wouldn't want to win a pair, would you???
Tune in to "Andy In The Morning," Monday through Friday from 5:30 to 10 a.m. to find out how to win them. As soon as I know.....you'll know!
