Daniel Buccheri didn't want to give a typical, boring best man's speech at his brother's wedding — and now that we've seen how his toast turned out, we can safely say that there was nothing typical or boring about it.

Daniel, a songwriter whom you may know from YouTube, told Mashable he didn't want to give a "snooze-fest" of a speech, which prompted him to put a musical twist on the tradition.

Daniel took a few popular songs and made subtle tweaks to the lyrics to reflect the couple and their situation. For example, Sam Smith's "Stay With Me," which is certainly not an obvious choice for a wedding song, was lyrically made over into: "I guess it's true when they say you become a man, when you find the one and take her hand. Lucky for you, it all went to plan and she didn't say no, because that would be sad!"

That wasn't the only song used to build the speech: Elton John's Lion King hit "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" also came into play, as well as "Every Breath You Take" by the Police.

The performance had the two most important elements of any best man speech: It was both touching and funny. At one point Daniel sings: "And although you met on the internet, I know this love is true. It's enough to let the dogs on your expensive rug and not keep them outside."
