Yay! Sunshine at least for one day. Sure, we'll have plenty of days of sun, etc. I'm just getting frustrated waiting. All my warm weather clothes are rotated to the front of the closet... they greet me each day as I reach for the cold weather stuff. I'm ready, although I think I still have a little more work before my body is ready.

Despite winter's reluctance to end, swimsuit season is on its way, and many people feel unprepared for the wardrobe change. According to a new Anytime Fitness poll, 60-percent of women and 46-percent of men aren't ready to slip into a bikini or speedo, primarily because they don't believe their abs should go on display.

Women are a little more self-critical and self-conscious, with 30-percent saying it's not just their midsection but their arms, chests, hips, and behinds that also aren't in swimsuit condition, while just 12-percent of the guys feel that way about themselves. But one in five people -- both men and women -- won't be visiting a beach this summer because they don't think their bodies are suitable for a swimsuit.

In addition, swimsuit shopping is a task many men and women would like to avoid. Nearly 20-percent of the guys and 23-percent of women would rather go to the dentist than try on swimsuits. Doing taxes is a preferable task to 21-percent of men and 15-percent of women, and 18-percent of the guys and 14-percent of the women would choose to visit their in-laws over swimsuit shopping.
