Last Year’s ArtPrize Winner Chris LaPorte Raises $20,000 For Grand Rapids Public Schools

By now you know the name, Chris LaPorte.  He was the Grand Prize winner last year for ArtPrize!  Well, he is a good man.  Why, you may ask.  Because he gave his time last night at MindShare, a fundraiser for The Grand Rapids Public Schools.  He did some caricatures and up his offer when tow people stepped up with $10,000 each.  This is a feel good story for GR.
