The restaurant business is a tough business. So many come.....and go. And, here's another one going, or rather, gone.

There are no remaining Tom + Chee locations left in Michigan. That's after the Grandville location closed its doors on Dec. 16.

If you ever watched "Shark Tank" on TV, or "man vs. Food," and even the, now canceled "The Chew," you'll remember Tom + Chee is a grilled cheese restaurant that became infamous after being featured on those TV shows, and because of its signature offering, the Grilled Cheese Donut.

Our news partner, WZZM, reported their website no longer lists any locations in Michigan, previously having restaurants in Grandville, Lansing, Canton, Troy and Northville.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports that Tom + Chee started closing stores across the county in 2017. The website still says they are located in 14 states, but only eight states currently list locations.

The Grandville location opened in 2015.

Tom + Chee was asked for a statement regarding the closure of the Grandville store, but they had nothing to say.
