Back in the early 90's, I was lucky enough to pilot a small plane and provide traffic reports -- with unique perspective -- when I worked for our sister station, WLHT. Once you get the hang of it, flying an airplane isn't much different from driving a car. Take off is easy. Flying is easy. Landing can be a little tricky. I mean anyone can bring the plane to the ground, but the goal is to walk away. Given the tedious hours of flying circles over greater Grand Rapids, I would get board and try a little "stunt flying." Nothing too outrageous. That is why I get such a kick out of this video.
