Allegiant Air will begin a new route to Portland International Airport in Oregon from Gerald R. Ford International Airport. Fares for the flights are being offered as low as $89. The new route will be available twice weekly.

Allegiant Air offers non-stop service from regional cities to major destinations in the United States including Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Florida locations. New destinations are added regularly. Some routes operate seasonally. Grand Rapids is Allegiant’s 16th base. Back in 2019, Allegiant invested $42 million into the base.

Allegiant Air still abides by the face mask policy laid out by the federal government. Federal law requires every person to wear a face covering that covers the nose and mouth at all times while traveling.
