We all probably have our favorite "horror story about flying.  I don't know if I would categorize this as a horror story, but this sure would "tick me off!!"

toy gun

Security at London’s Gatwick airport have deemed the three-inch rifle that came with a toy solider a “firearm” that is too dangerous to take on a flight.

Ken Lloyd, a Canadian, was flying home with a military figurine he had bought from a museum gift shop in his carry-on bag.

The security line screeners pulled the soldier out of the bag, and told Lloyd he could only bring it with him on the plane if he removed the tiny resin rifle from the toy’s hands.

Security did allow Lloyd to mail the three-inch rifle back home.
