It's pretty exciting to throw out the first pitch at a baseball game, but it was made even more exciting for two young fans of the West Michigan Whitecaps over the weekend.

When Kora Bunyea, 5, and her little brother Wyatt, 4, threw out opening pitches before the Whitecaps took on Bowling Green at Fifth Third Ballpark, they assumed they were throwing the ball to the team's catcher. But when the catcher's mask came off, they quickly realized that they had thrown the ball to their dad, United States Air Force Master Sergeant Aaron Bunyea. Bunyea had just returned home after being stationed in Honduras since October 2013.

It was an emotional surprise for the kids (and fans in attendance) that was thought up by Master Sergeant Bunyea and then put together by his wife Callie and the West Michigan Whitecaps.
