48 Michigan high school bands competed at Ford Field in Detroit on Saturday, November 2, for the Michigan Competing Band Association state titles.

Titles were awarded in four separate divisions and West Michigan high school bands performed very well!

Jenison High School earned their third consecutive state title with the highest score in Flight II. Jenison's score of 90.35 was the second highest score of all 48 bands.

In Flight III, Reeths-Puffer (Muskegon) won their second straight state championship with the third highest score across all Flights.

In Flight IV, Godwin Heights (Wyoming) took home the state title.

The highest West Michigan finisher in Flight I was Rockford, with a third place finish.
