West Michigan Election Results – November 5, 2013

There were a number of issues on the ballot across West Michigan today.

Results are in.

Today’s elections involved city councils, mayors, school issues, and more.

Here are a few of today’s results:

 

 

 

 

 

  • Grand Rapids Parks Millage passed 60% – 40%.  The millage is expected to raise $4 million each year for the next 7 years.
  • The Saugatuck/Douglas consolidation proposal was rejected, 61% – 39%.
  • Stephen Kepley was elected mayor of Kentwood.
  • Steve Maas was elected mayor of Grandville.
