Visitor Gives Great Review Of Grand Rapids

My wife and I have lived in Grand Rapids for a little over two years. Even before we moved here, we loved GR and West Michigan so much that we'd come up on vacation and during weekends. We've known for 5 years what many others are discovering ... that Grand Rapids is a GREAT city.

That's why I was so pleased to see great things written about our city in a blog named "Put a Little Umbrella In Your Drink."  Lesli, the owner, is from the east side of Michigan and enjoyed a weekend getaway in GR with her husband.

From the Amway Grand Plaza to downtown nightlife and attractions, from Founders to HopCat, Meijer Gardens to the Ford Museum and Public Museum, she was impressed with Grand Rapids just like every "outsider" when they visit.

Needless to say, we absolutely loved our visit to Grand Rapids! We are already planning our next trip back. The city has this great vibe and is thriving with cultural activity and is just plain fun. If you are looking for a fun-filled visit to Western Michigan, you are looking for Grand Rapids. It has a big city feel with small city friendliness.
