Traverse City Bookstore to Close After 58 Years in Business

This morning, Horizon Books in Traverse City announced that they will be closing their doors after over 58 years in business.

The announcement on Facebook says the store will close in the coming year. How the closing will work and the exact timeline of the closing are not known at this time.

The decision comes as sales have been steady, but expenses have increased. The owners also cite future retirement and "other needs of family."

There are no plans to close Cadillac Horizon Books.
